ORDER
How do I order?
Via the website. After your order, you will receive a confirmation with further information.
When should I order?
CakeMail: at least 2 days in advance by 9 PM.
Cupcakes & cakes: at least 5 days.
Custom cakes: 14 days.
Wedding cakes: at least 3 months in advance.
Sweet Table: at least 7 weeks in advance
Is my order final?
Yes, after receipt of payment, your order is confirmed and the date reserved.
Can I order a personalised cake?
Yes! Via the webshop or contact us via meimabakes@gmail.com or send a DM via @meima.bakes.
PAYMENT
How do I pay for CakeMail?
You pay for CakeMail directly through the webshop. Quick and easy checkout.
How do I pay for other products?
For cupcakes, cakes, wedding cakes, and sweet tables, we will send a payment request after confirming your order.
You can also pay by bank transfer: IBAN NL34BUNQ2189379857 to Meima Bakes (BIC: BUNQNL2A). Please state your name or order number as the description.
Can I pay afterwards?
No, advance payment is required for all products. Without payment, the order will not be processed.
DELIVERY & PICKUP
How is CakeMail delivered?
Via PostNL, next day delivery, through the letterbox. The recipient does not need to be home.
Please note:
- There is no delivery on Sundays
- Do you want your order to arrive on Monday? Then order no later than Friday before 9:00 PM
- Orders placed after this time will be delivered on Tuesday
What if the delivery person does not place the package in the letterbox?
In that case, the package will be delivered to neighbors or a collection point. MEIMA Bakes is not responsible for delays caused by PostNL.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, in Bodegraven. You will receive the exact address after your order has been confirmed.
Is home delivery available for cakes?
Delivery is available for wedding cakes and sweet tables, at an additional cost and subject to availability.
PRODUCTS & ALLERGENS
Are your products suitable for people with allergies?
Unfortunately not. All products are prepared in a kitchen where gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy are present. Consumption is at your own risk.
Are there vegan or gluten-free options?
Not at the moment. We hope to be able to offer this in the future.

CANCELLATION & REFUND
Can I cancel my CakeMail order?
No, CakeMail orders cannot be cancelled. Once your order has been placed and paid for, it immediately goes into production.
Will I get my money back if I cancel?
Payments are generally non-refundable. The amount will only be refunded in the event of a demonstrable error by MEIMA Bakes or in cases of force majeure.
What if my product arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 24 hours (or as soon as possible) at meimabakes@gmail.com, preferably with photos. We will resolve it together.
